Dr. Monjir Bakshi

Dr. Monjir Bakshi is a prosthodontist who combines advanced specialty training with a caring, down-to-earth approach. She believes dentistry is about more than restoring teeth — it’s about restoring comfort, confidence, and quality of life. Patients appreciate her ability to explain complex situations in a clear, reassuring way and her dedication to guiding them through every step of treatment.

Dr. Bakshi completed her undergraduate studies at Cornell University before earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She went on to complete a three-year residency in Prosthodontics and earn a Master’s degree in Oral Biology at Columbia University. This advanced training allows her to care for patients with even the most complex dental needs — from full-mouth reconstruction and smile makeovers to implants, crowns, bridges, and dentures. Dr. Bakshi is passionate about combining artistry with precision and uses the latest digital dentistry technology to create results that are natural-looking, minimally invasive, and built to last.

In addition to treating patients, Dr. Bakshi lectures on implant dentistry and digital techniques and is an active member of the American Dental Association, American College of Prosthodontists, and Northeastern Gnathological Society.

Dr. Bakshi lives in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ with her husband, who is an orthodontist, and their two children, Nolan and Shailey. When she’s not caring for patients or spending time with her family, she enjoys oil painting, traveling, and volunteering her time in the community by serving on the board of a local non-profit organization.
